The New Metro Expo line kicked off in downtown Los Angeles on 7th and Figuroa with The Double Gee NineNet!
The event was just on off the locations on the new Expo line that celebrated it's opening with music this afternoon! Make Music LA is of course all about celebrating art and music so partnering with Metro for this event was perfect synchronization! Make Music Los Angeles provided the music at three different locations on the Expo line. 10am in the heart of downtown, The Double Gee NineNet kicked the music into full swing! Derf Recklaw Cuzmo set the bar super high with their 10am set of Africa jazz at the LaCienega/Jefferson station and The Brian Swartz Quartet serenaded souls at the Expo Park station for the 1pm set.
Besides the awesome music, Metro also had lots of booths like the Make Music LA booth, Karokee, gigantic sun goddess' and LA Zombies dancing to Michael Jackson's, "Thriller"!
